Updated October 7th 2021
As it stands the infection rate in Germany is in decline. Berlin has started to move towards a ‘2G’ system – geimpft or genesen – vaccinated against Coronavirus, or recovered from it, being requirements to enter certain indoor settings and events (especially nightclubs).
Treetop Travel Journalism does not plan to insist our students have been vaccinated or have recovered from the virus, but must warn all applicants that there’s a chance their ability to visit some places will be restricted.
All of our courses will be carried out in compliance with the German government’s regulations, to ensure that our students are able to work in a safe environment.
We will continue to monitor the guidelines and update here as the situation develops.
We are currently taking new students from Spring 2022, when we’ll be able to work as normal – our working spaces remain open.
Our team remain available if you have any questions in the meantime – email@example.com
Are you taking applications for 2022?
Yes! You will be able to make your application as normal for our Spring and Summer 2022 writing courses. If you apply 30 days before the month you wish to join you will be guaranteed enrolment.
Will the course be limited / affected due to Coronavirus?
Our projects are starting up again in the Spring of 2022 and we will have the highest level of hygiene in our office space. The magazine project requires attendance in the office for the first week and can be mostly done remotely thereafter. As our project members will be writing on current affairs in Berlin, they will need to be actively on site to experience and document events / places in the city.
If I pay for my course, in full or by deposit, but cannot attend due to Covid-19 restrictions, what will happen?
If you are unable to make the course due to provable Covid related restrictions, or if recovering from coronavirus, we will issue you a full refund. Alternatively, you’d be able to defer your place to a future monthly course at the fixed price that you paid.
