Treetop Travel Journalism

Stand out in the job market

Joining

our

creative magazine publication project will help you to stand out in the job market! We write, edit and design travel guides to Berlin in small teams of around ten students. At the end of our one month programmes, we publish the team’s work online and make printed copies. You’ll have your name on all your work in the publication and will have something unique for your CV!

Having a university degree is seen by many as a prerequisite for being considered as a credible job candidate. A survey in 2020 found that 40% of 25-34 year olds in the EU have completed university and hold a bachelor’s degree. In light of this, it’s crucial that you bolster your CV with some working experience or links to your creative portfolio. Our work abroad programme in Berlin is perfect for this, and gives you plenty to talk about in an interview.

Upon completion of our journalism courses, we provide all the students with a certificate, and we are also here to write references for any prospective employers. Our projects have won multiple awards for journalism training and our interactive writing workshops. Our dedicated writing mentors provide you with regular feedback throughout the project, and you’ll have time with a much celebrated American author and journalist to gain some invaluable inspiration and insight.

Our monthly programme in Berlin also includes a Street Art Workshop and interactive language classes so you’ll have a truly immersive cultural experience.
