Why take a work / study break during University Summer?

University summer holidays are typically 3-4 months long. Students often use this break to wind down from studying – filling the time with casual jobs, holidays or just relaxing at home. Taking a productive work / study course is almost certainly a better way to use this time, as future employers will be impressed to see you have some work experience to your name. Our 1 or 2 month collaborative travel writing projects will get you ahead of your peers, as, tangibly, they’ll equip you with a portfolio to accompany your CV.

Why choose our creative writing placements?

Our travel journalism projects offer our students the opportunity to improve their creative writing skills, experience working as part of a team and network with like-minded people. On top of that we offer interactive language classes and have partnered with some guides to provide exciting and alternative city tours. Our idea is that by basing our internships abroad, those on university summer breaks can develop their writing skills in our workshops, and at the same time discover a city’s culture, history and language. It all combines for a highly productive, eye-opening adventure.

Our Berlin project is running in summer and winter in 2020, and we are now taking applications.
